Our Choice
Giving looked-after young people aged 10-25 free adventurous activities!
AU activities are free for looked-after young people – defined as ‘Young people aged 10 – 18 (or up to 25 if they are finding the transition to independent living difficult) who do not live with their biological or adoptive parents or who are under a local authority supervision order. This includes young people living with other relatives, friends, in foster or other local authority care, in hostel accommodation and homeless young people’.
For ‘looked-after’ young people, the Our Choice project gives you a chance to take part in adventurous activities including kayaking, climbing and archery.
Individual looked-after young people can book free places on Indoor Climbing at the Rock Court, Wild Things and TOADS adventure days (13-18 year olds). No-one has to know you are looked-after, simply tell us when you are booking your session and it will be free.
