Activities

  Brook Farm

  Other activities

In single kayaks or open 'Canadian' canoes. Beginners' sessions include plenty of games and basic strokes. For the more advanced we can teach rescues and rolls. Certificated courses are also available.

Alternatively, construct your own raft from scratch and put it to the test by paddling across the lake and (hopefully) back again. We'll provide everything you need. A challenge indeed, with loads of laughs!

 Kayaking at Tilgate Lake

    Venues:
Raft ready for launching at Tilgate Lake

Tilgate Lake - a beautiful lake in a parkland setting near Crawley, with an adjacent Nature Centre and plenty of space for games.

Cuckmere Haven - the classic meandering, oxbow river near Seaford, combines well with mountain biking and other activities in Friston Forest.

River Medway - circular routes and journeys along this non-moving river, starting from Tonbridge.

Weir Wood Reservoir - a delightful setting in the Ashdown Forest, handy for rock climbing at Stone Farm or abseiling at nearby Blackland Farm
