Adventure Unlimited is a registered charity based in Brighton & Hove, on the South coast of England.
We offer outdoor adventure activities for:
• Children & Young People
• Adults
• Corporate teams
Adventure Unlimited works with over 6,000 children and young people and 100 volunteers each year. Our projects are designed to overcome barriers to access for children and young people who have special needs or behavioural issues, are living on a low income, or who are isolated by location or circumstance. We adopt innovative approaches to engaging disadvantaged children in activities which are proven to transform their life chances.
We provide:
• One to one assistance for people with special needs
• A caring introduction for beginners
• Appropriate challenges for the more experienced
• Subsidised rates for the less well-off

Adventure Unlimited was founded in 1977, originally teaching drama to disadvantaged children from London in outdoor environments. As demand for the work grew the charity moved to Brighton and began to specialise more widely in outdoor activities. These activities were having great impact on the lives of its beneficiaries, improving confidence, mental and physical health and developing life skills. In order to meet local need for these activities, a training programme for unemployed adults was developed, training them to become activity leaders. Today, volunteers still donate their time to supporting disadvantaged children and young people whilst training to become outdoor leaders.
