818 Club Joining Form

New Members - targeting disadvantaged groups

The 818 Club is very nearly at full capacity.  It receives a third of its funding from BBC Children in Need.  The Children in Need funding has been provided to enable disadvantaged children to benefit from the club.  For these reasons we are currently only able to accept new members from the following groups:

£  families on low incomes (receiving state benefits or working tax credit)

£  children with special needs

£  children in local authority residential or foster care

£  young carers (children looking after a family member with a disability or a long-term illness)

£  single parent families – ie where there is no other person to share the child care

If you’d like to join the club and you don’t fit into one of these categories but you feel your child is disadvantaged in some other way please write to us.

We will reopen the club to new members who don't fit into any of these categories when capacity allows.  In the meantime, if you would like to be added to the waiting list please email us at info@aultd.org.

To join the 818 Club, please print this form and send it by post to:
